Q: What is the cost of the membership?
A: An easy $5.00 a month. This is paid for in advance for 6
months. We do not store credit card numbers so in 6 months you will need to purchase
another 6 months.
Q: What do I get with my Membership?
A: You obtain the ability to view real-time video of the surf
Q: Can I have a refund once I join?
A: There are no refunds. The reason is because of potential
abuse. People could sign-up, view the waves and then say they wanted their money back. The
overhead to support this is to much.
Q: Do you guarantee me access 24/7?
A: As long as the server is up, you should have access,
however, since I don't have physical control over the server there may be few occasions
when it is down shortly for maintenance. And as for the camera, that too like most things
will come down for short periods of time for maintenance. Scheduled maintenance will
be during the night. But other than those two items, you should have full 24/7 access.
Q: What do I do if I do not see the moving picture
A: The camera needs an ActiveX Control installed on your computer (or browser) to allow you to see the video.
In Internet Explorer:
• Click [Tools] -> [Internet Options] ->[Security] tab and click [Custom level] on
the web browser.
(1) Check "Prompt" in "Download signed ActiveX Controls".
(2) Check "Enable" in "Run ActiveX Controls and plug-ins".
Note:
• Video may not be displayed quickly. Wait for a while.
• In some corporate network environments a firewall may be used for security
purposes. It is possible that this may prevent motion video from being
displayed.
Q: How fast is the streaming video?
A: The connection to the streaming video varies. Your
connection could be slower depending on demand and other "internet" traffic. However, you should expect to
see a moving image free from studder most of the time.
